This project involved the construction of a modern cafeteria at the University of Lusaka, Silverest campus in Chongwe, with the main scope of works focused on external steel fabrication and general building works. The development was designed to provide a functional, safe, and welcoming dining facility that integrates well within the existing campus environment.
The works primarily comprised external structural steel fabrication and installation, including roofing steel elements, canopies, and supporting frameworks, as well as external blockwork and concrete works. General building works focused on external finishes, paving, access walkways, drainage systems, and other associated external works aimed at improving accessibility, durability, and site functionality. All works were executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable construction standards, ensuring quality workmanship, structural integrity, and long-term performance of the facility.
